Cobra Starship is an American dance-pop and dance-rock band formed in New York City in 2005. After Gabe Saporta's previous band, Midtown, broke up, he took a trip to Arizona. In Arizone, he was bit by a snake, which he claimed then made him see a vision. He then came home with a new goal, to make fun, dance-friendly music that helped people know to not take themselves too seriously. Over the years, the band released four studio albums under Fueled By Ramen. Due to being signed by Decaydance, they were often interlinked in many of the tours and events that connect them to bandom.
