Fall Out Boy was formed in 2001, and helped shape the genres of emo and pop-punk . Fall out boy is known as the "father" in the emo trinity. Fall Out Boy is still an active band and hasn't split up, or shown signs of splitting. Fall Out Boy and Pete Wentz's label, DCD2 are largely responsible for Panic! At The Disco's success.
